Mid Prairie Feed the Kids Program

Mid Prairie Feed the Kids’ mission is to help provide meals to food-insecure children in Washington County Iowa. Items include weekend food backpacks, snacks at school, summer lunch programs and more. A dinner and auction was held on August 25, 2018 at the Wellman YMCA. This event helped to raise money and awareness for this local cause. Open Gates Group was a Gold Sponsor for this event. Marketing Manager Sara Rissi states, “One of our [Open Gate’s Group] guiding principles is to improve life in our community. Supporting the ‘Feed the Kids” program is a great way we can help hungry children in our community.”
