Kalona Creamery Shop & Deli opened its doors on January 19, 2017. This building, formerly the Kalona Cheese Factory, was a well-known local establishment that closed in late 2014. Open Gates Group purchased the old cheese factory with hopes to continue to build on the legacy.
The Kalona Creamery Shop & Deli, located on Highway 1 outside Kalona, Iowa, features numerous products made in Iowa including cheese curds, specialty meats and cheeses, pastries, and much more! The shop & deli also features delicious, high quality-made fresh daily- soups and sandwiches.
