From organic dairy to distribution and logistics, each of our companies play a vital role in strengthening food systems and supporting rural economies. Below is an overview of how they work together to advance our mission.

In 2004, Farmers Creamery began producing organic dairy products.

In 2005, Kalona Organics was created to provide marketing and sales support for Farmers Creamery. This was later consolidated into Kalona SuperNatural.

In 2010, Kalona Farms was formed to source, buy, and sell milk.

In 2012, Provision Ingredients was constructed to handle industrial and bulk sales.

In 2013, Frytown Warehouse & Distribution Center was purchased to provide additional warehousing and office space.

In 2013, Awesome Refrigerated Transit of Iowa (ARTI) was established to provide transportation for Farmers Creamery.

In 2014, Awesome Logistics was developed to broker truck loads for other companies.

In 2017, Kalona Creamery was opened as a retail store and provided additional production space for Kalona SuperNatural Organic Yogurts. In 2018, production of cheese curds and ice cream began.

In 2025, a Creamery Coffee was opened at Kalona Creamery to showcase exceptional coffee paired with Kalona SuperNatural Organic Dairy.

In 2025, Bulltown Brewing was added to offer premium non-alcoholic beer that embodies the heart of the Midwestern values and ingenuity.
