Warehouse Driver - Frytown Distribution

Our Warehouse Driver is responsible for performing physical tasks in the materials management function including picking orders, shipping and receiving, inventory control, and delivery of products.  Must have CDL (Class A or Class B) Home nightly! Typical shift hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Occasional weekend work as required.

What you will get to do...
  • Pick orders for external and internal customers in a cold storage environment.
  • Load and unload trucks and receive materials in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the internal transport of products to Open Gates facilities.
  • Assist in product pick-up and local deliveries when needed.
  • Adhere to DOT State and Federal regulations.
  • Perform pre/post trip inspections, ensuring the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
  • Update inventory control system.
  • Participate in physical inventory.
  • Maintain accurate records of work procedures as directed.
  • Maintain a safe warehouse environment and a clean, sanitary work area.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
What you will need...
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 2 years of warehouse and pallet jack/forklift experience desired.
  • Able to perform work in cold temperatures (ie: a cooler) for several hours per day. 
  • Clean driving record and a Class A or Class B CDL license is required.
  • Legible handwriting and strong attention to detail.
  • Basic math and reasoning skills.
  • Computer skills and proficiency with Google Suite and Smartphones.
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs repetitively and stand for 8 hours per day.
  • Flexible and willing to learn and grow in the role.
  • Team oriented with a focus of working in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
  • Good attitude with a high level of integrity and alignment with our mission, vision, values & operating principles.
